For the past year, I have been battling shin splints. It’s bad. I invest into good running shoes, stretch, ice, and anything I can find to avoid them, but it seems that nothing has been working. I have been taking it REALLY slow lately. I thought I had escaped pain, but alas…..last week on Thursday morning I awoke and could hardly walk! The pain is unbearable. And I love running, but I can’t deal with the pain. So I have some options. 1. Don’t run (UNACCEPTABLE!). 2. Go see a specialized doctor and get special order shoes that are made to fit my feet specifically ($$$$$$$$$$!). 3. Deal with the pain (see above where I said “I can’t deal with the pain). 4. Any recommendations? HELP!

Off to eat some delish dinner with my husband……..
